Proxy setup

A proxy server is a local server which stores Web pages or files from the Internet, so you can access
many homepages or download files faster. Every time you try to see a homepage or download a file, the proxy server
will check that the data on the original server is still same as the information on the server. If it is the same
information, the proxy server will send you the local copy of that page or file instead of original website.
If the original page has changed, the proxy will download it and forward to you. This system will make your transfer
speed much faster. The information that you get from the proxy is identical to the original web sites. After you finish installation,
please configure the proxy in your web browser program as follows:

> Setting up Proxy for Netscape Navigator 3.0

> Setting up Proxy for Netscape Communicator 4.xx

> Setting up Proxy for Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0

> Setting up Proxy for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0

> Setting up Proxy for Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0
